An Appreciation
Over on the website, I've written an appreciation of the builder of this townhouse, Hap Crawford, to mark the first year of his passing.
I wish I'd had the chance to tell him how much I love the Wabi Sabi of his aesthetic. A great southwestern stylist, and architect, builder, native son of Albuquerque, perhaps no other builder had as great an imprint on the style of the northwest valley.
